Cardinals released Albert Pujols to Free-Agency back in December. After an 11 year career with the Cardinals, Albert signed a 10 year contract with the Los Angeles Angels worth $250 million. Pujols, 31 years old first basemen, has a batting average of .328. He has an average of 42 home runs and 126 RBIs a season and two World Series titles. His contract is the 2nd largest in major league history, right behind Alex Rodriguez's contract with the Texas Rangers.He has been projected to help the Angels stats but over the course of the 10 year contract, his talent and ability will diminish.
